about me

Hi there, I’m Stephanie! Back when I was in 8th grade we had to choose what we wanted to be when we grew up for the graduation slideshow. I envisioned becoming a National Geographic photographer that would be on many jobs throughout the years. While that is still a dream that I wouldn’t mind working towards, I got a bit, oh let’s say…sidetracked. For the past 14 years I’ve been creating some sweet memories with many families that have joined me along the way.

Why Munchkin Moments? Being a momma, I know many moments are small, but so BIG at the same time. I feel like we’ve been conditioned to swiftly move past the newborn stage when it’s literally – just a moment. Soon they are 1 month old — a year old and walking — their gummy smile turns into a crooked baby teeth smile and that disappears the second they lose their first tooth — the tiny voice and wittle lisp they have and I ‘yuve’ you turns into I ‘love’ you — those big ‘ol baby cheeks they have as newborns …oh the baby cheeks!

I realized those memories are priceless and we move past them all too quickly. So with my own life experience, I created Munchkin Moments. Since then, I’ve attended multiple workshops to better myself, better my quality of work, and, it’s all for YOU. I want to provide you with the best experience I’m able to and what an honor it is to pass along my knowledge into your newborn portrait experience. I’m here to help your baby’s first portraits be an easy process to safekeeping your memories and seeing my work proudly displayed in my clients’ homes is the ultimate reward because I know I’m creating art work they can enjoy daily.

The name you ask? Well, my dad called me Munchkin when I was little and sometimes still to this day he still calls me his little munchkin. Speaking of family, I’m a momma to 3 beautiful girls and nominee for ‘Mom of the Year’ – 19 years running, haha.

I look forward to welcoming you into the Munchkin Moments family.
